- Description
- NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP)for the following Commercial item/services: Grounds Maintenance and Pest-control Services (GMAPS). The requirements under this contract include providing all resources to perform grounds maintenance and pest control services for the Johnson Space Center (JSC), Ellington Field (EF), the Sonny Carter Training Facility (SCTF), and the JSC Barge Dock Facility in Houston, Texas. Grounds Maintenance services consist of: mowing, edging and trimming of lawn, trees, landscaped areas, licensed herbicide/pesticide application, maintenance of ponds and turf irrigation systems, pest control services and miscellaneous grounds support services. The contractor will also be required to support various meetings associated with grounds maintenance such as the Wildlife Program and/or monthly tag up meetings with various Government personnel. A draft RFP will be posted prior to the final RFP. This procurement is a total 8(a) small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561730 and $7 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFP NNJ13473781R is on or about October 3, 2013 with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about November 18, 2013. The anticipated release date of the draft RFP NNJ13473781R is on or about August 21, 2013. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer.
