- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Five Year Firm Fixed Price Requirement Type contract for the procurement of the X-Ray Apparatus Set, NSN: 6625-01-394-5926RN, P/N: MIL-PRF-32133 (Type II), with BEQ's of 15 units per year for a five year period. The equipment is used to inspect nondestructive inspection (NDI) of aircraft structure, engines, and support equipment across the Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves. The end item for this equipment is applicable to the A-10, B-1, B-2, B-52, C-5, C-17, C-130, E-3, F-15, F-16, and T-38 aircrafts. Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit an offer/proposal. This notice of intent is for a Request for Proposal (RFP) or competitive offer/proposal. This acquisition is set aside for Small Business (SB). SOLICITATION TO BE ISSUED 15 DAYS AFTER THE PUBLICATION DATE OF THIS SYNOPSIS OR THEREAFTER. All offers/proposals received within the thirty days after issuance of solicitation, or 45 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serous contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
