- This combined synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Request for Proposal is issued on an unrestricted basis with Other than Full and Open Competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Contract type is firm fixed price. Quantity variance is plus or minus 0%. Approved sources: General Electric Company, CAGE 07482 P/N, 1347M95G08, and Chromalloy San Diego Corp 0ALH8 P/N 1347M95G08SM1, NSN: 2840-01-268-4968, QTY 225 ea. The delivery requested is 162 DARO. The solicitation terms include FOB Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. This is a Critical Application Item and Configuration Control applies. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described above are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government on this NSN. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition. The synopsis/solicitation issue date is July 7, 2013 and the close date is July 22. 2013.
