- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is for a market survey only; therefore, no requirement exists so do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC has a need to identify sources and market conditions for CM-300 Series Radios. The proposed project will be a Firm-Fixed Priced contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small and Large Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide CM-300 Series Radios. Responses to this synopsis shall include a capabilities statement about the company detailing its size standard, ability to provide this type of supply and handle the anticipated volume and a price list for the requested radios. All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The acquisition strategy and type of contract, if a formal requirement is established, will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors.
