Description

Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has a requirement for hardware & software maintenance of its ImageTrac scanners. ATF has determined that it is in the Government's best interest to award this requirement with a base year and up to 4 option years (7/1/13-6/30/18) to the manufacturer, Imaging Business Machines LLC (IMBL), with an Estimated Total Value of $185,011. IBML is located on 2750 Crestwood Blvd. in Birmingham, AL 35210. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, in conjunction with FAR 13, ATF intends to negotiate and award a Purchase Order on a sole-source basis to IMBL. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS; THEREFORE, A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Interested parties, should there be, may email their technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Government's requirement to the Contract Specialist listed before this Special Notice closes.
