Description

Redacted SSJ RECOVERY - This action is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). This notice is provided for informational purposes only. The Social Security Administration (SSA) issued a firm-fixed-price contract SS00-13-60023 in the amount of $229,416.00 to Performance Associates, P.O. Box 5080, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 for the reinstatement of a PA I/O software license and corresponding maintenance on June 27, 2013. This opportunity was available only to Performance Associates, Inc. This notice is for information only; contractors should not respond. The rationale for the sole-source justification is The software to be procured is "commercial" in nature, as defined at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 2, and will be solicited using FAR Part 12, as well as the procedures outlined at FAR 13.500 "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items." The acquisition was a sole source as described at FAR 13.501(a) utilizing simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of the Service Acquisition Reform Act of 2003 (41 U.S.C.428a). [see attached SSJ]
