- Amendment 0002 The Contractor shall perform freight forwarding services for JFRC 5-ton containers and related services as set forth in the Pricing Schedule, in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of this contract and applicable Government of Japan (GOJ) laws, JFRC regulations and trade practices. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Sep 2013. AREA OF PERFORMANCE: Performance shall be throughout Japan (less Okinawa) to meet transportation requirements specified in the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS). The point-to-point routes are specified in the Pricing Schedule. TYPES OF FREIGHT: The Contractor shall transport, general, dangerous, and hazardous freight upon order issued by the Transportation Officer as specified in the PWS. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: It is scheduled for 20 Jun 2013, at 1000 hours at Yokota Air Base, Japan. (Subject to change). Firms wishing to attend this pre-proposal conference are requested to submit the names of all attendees (not to exceed 3 persons) in writing to this synopsis to Ms Masayo Inoue, Contract Specialist, by fax or email: Commercial fax number is 042-551-0973 (from inside Japan); e-mail address is masayo.inoue.jp@us.af.mil, prior to 18 Jun 2013, at 1100 hours. Offer Due Date: 22 July 2013, 0200PM NOTE: THIS PROJUCT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE CONTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERD TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE CONTRY OF JAPAN.
