- ********* QUESTIONS*********** 1) The solicitation references a statement of work... "...only a possible quote scenario see SOW for true requirements." Was this referring to the information in the solicitation or is there a second document that contains the SOW? 2) The two technicians are required to have an "all terrain vehicle". Can this be a pickup truck or will they have to have a small four-wheeler ATV? I'm assuming a pickup truck is acceptable, but wanted to check. 3) The example quote includes 6 spare fog machines. Are we required to supply 6 spares, or was this just a suggestion? I'm assuming that we don't HAVE to have 6, we just have to make sure that if a machine breaks down, we can repair or replace it within the 30-min window. Please confirm. 4) We do not need to supply the power source, correct? Just the 50' power cords? ********* Answers *************** 1) The SOW is currently imbedded above. There is no SOW attachment. 2) The all terrain vehicle cannot be a full size vehicle. Traveling across grassy areas with minimal maneuver damage to the facility is required. A golf cart or 4 wheel utility cart (such as a gator or Kubota), is recommended. If you use a golf cart, please verify that it not an electric that requires plugging in to charge. We cannot guarantee the ability to charge the cart. 3) The required fog machines are 15, you are correct. However, from past experience it has worked better to have spare machines so you can do a swap of machines and take your time on the repair. You may not have the part needed to fix the machine when it goes down. Just a suggestion, not a requirement. However, we cannot accept machines being down for extended amounts of time. 4) Power supply is not required (no generators needed). However, quality all weather extension cords are required. Keep in mind, all machines will be operating outdoors and it is the responsibility of the vendor to protect their equipment from the elements.
