- 1. The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), WA, intends to solicit proposals for an offeror to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to remove and dispose of waste cooking oil/grease and service grease traps and grease interceptors, located at JBLM, WA. This shall include all connectors and water transport and/or storage vehicles necessary to carry out the requirements of this contract. A complete Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. The Bid number is W911S8-13-B-0009. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a fixed-price requirements contract. The applicable NAICS code is 562998 - All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services, with a small business size standard of $7.0 Million. This procurement will be solicited as a total small business set-aside. 3. The anticipated contract period has a base period of 1 November 2013 - 31 October 2014 plus four (4) one-year option periods, with each option, if exercised, to begin performance on 1 November. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 15 July 2013 and the anticipated closing date is 14 August 2013. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov/ and ensure that the applicable NAICS code 562998 is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of proposals. 6.
