- The National Park Service, Southeast Region intends to issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ)contract for Archeological Excavation located at Fort Polk Louisiana. Fort Polk is located near Leesville in extreme west-central Louisiana approximately 40 miles southwest of Alexandria and 55 miles north of Lake Charles. The installation consists of two non-contiguous units, the Main Fort and Peason Ridge, approximately 12 miles north and west of the Main Fort. Fort Polk is headquarters for the Joint Readiness Training Command and provides facilities and ranges for resident and nonresident active Army units, Army Reserve units, and National Guard units. The United States Forest Service's Intensive Use and Limited Use Areas, Vernon Division of the Calcasieu Ranger District of the Kisatchie National Forest are also included in the boundaries of Fort Polk. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. NAICS Code: 541720, Standard business size is $19.0M. The Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder's list. It is incumbent for any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any amendments and respond to them by the date and time set for receipt of proposals or amendments may render the offeror nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the offer. All prospective contractors must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov prior to receiving any awards with the government. Failure to do so will render an offer nonresponsive. No telephone offers accepted. Estimated cost range of the project is between $25,000.00 and $300,000.00.
