THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED OR ACCEPTED THROUGH THIS SYNOPSIS U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is issuing a Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research for the purpose of identifying qualified small businesses (Small Disadvantaged Businesses, which includes Women-Owned, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Section 8(a) Small Businesses, SBA certified HUBZone Small Businesses and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses) that have interest, resources and capability to perform the required services. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for cost incurred with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This Notice does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results regarding the market research survey. This Notice is to gauge the availability of Facility Support Services firms with the experience and resources necessary to provide Building Operation, Maintenance and Repair (BOMR) services required at Land Ports of Entry (LPOEs) in one to three geographic regions of the continental United States: Laredo, TX (Brownsville and Matamoros/Brownsville - Gateway Int'l Bridge / Brownsville - Los Tomates - Veterans Int'l Bridge / Del Rio / Eagle Pass I - Piedras Negras Bridge / Eagle Pass II / Laredo Bridge I - Convent Street / Laredo Bridge II - Lincoln Juarez / Laredo Bridge III - Colombia / Laredo Bridge IV - World Trade Bridge / Los Indios - Free Trade Bridge / Los Ebanos Ferry / Pharr); Detroit, MI (Sault St. Marie / Ambassador Bridge) and Boston, MA (Alburg Springs, VT / Alburg, VT / Beebe Plain, VT / Beecher Falls, VT / Calais, ME - Ferry Point / Calais, ME - Milltown / Canaan, VT / Coburn Gore, ME / Derby Line, VT - I-91 / Derby Line, VT - Route 5 / East Richford, VT - Route 105 / Fort Fairfield, ME / Fort Kent, ME / Highgate Springs, VT / Houlton, ME / Jackman, ME / Limestone, ME / Madawaska, ME / North Troy, VT / Norton, VT / Orient, ME / Richford, VT - Route 139 / St. Pamphile, ME / Van Buren, ME / Vanceboro, ME / West Berkshire, VT). An outline of the required work includes the following four services: custodial services, grounds maintenance, snow and ice removal, facilities maintenance and repair to include a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Information to be provided shall include a Capability Statement which demonstrates the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities necessary to perform the support services listed above. Statements should address the services required and identify the firms' specific skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities to complete these requirements, including, but not limited to a description of corporate experience with similar projects. Provide insight on relevant commercial practices for requirements of this nature as well as information on contact types your firm has been awarded for these types of services. The Government understands that teaming is an integral part of contracting.
