Description

Justification & Approval The 105th Airlift Wing intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with FLIR Systems, Inc. of Billerica, MA for the procurement of the following items: Provide software upgrades to 3ea Thermovision Sentry cameras, P/N 194760, to the latest version software package. Repair the focus mechanics to 1ea Thermovision Sentry camera, P/N 194760, as the unit currently does not focus. The authority cited is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to meet the requirement and objectives as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be condsidered. All interested firms must respond by Friday, July 5, 2013, 10:00AM EST. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
