- Spatial Data Management Services This request is for market research purposes only -not a request for proposals. Large businesses please do not respond. The General Services Administration (GSA) in New York, NY is attempting to determine if there are any Small Businesses in the following small business classifications qualified to perform the services described below: Customer Resolution: Provide customer resolution assistance (space measurement and assignment review); Attend meetings with GSA counterparts and agency representatives. Execute square footage comparison analysis using ANSI/BOMA (Building managers and Owners) and/or REBNY (Real Estate Board of New York) standards. Provide specialized technical services such as; preparation of stacking charts, creating customized reports (i.e. extract appropriate data for reporting as needed Janitorial (Performance Based) contract estimates, and balancing reports for the General Services Administration, Region 2 (Northeast & Caribbean) building locations'. Drawing Request Module and Preparation: The contractor shall have the capability of providing Drawing Request module and preparation and delivery of prints/PDF's/DWG's. In addition, Contractor shall provide guidance on software module design, development and enhancements; perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) via GSA's eSMART (electronic Spatial Management and Reporting Tool ); Provide guidance and technical expertise on internal/external process development; Provide specialized drawing services (i.e. Fire Safety/signage drawings); assistance in archiving / shredding internal documents; Provide GSA-SDM billing related technical assistance using the information in GSA's REXUS (Real Estate across the U.S) billing system and GSA's OA (Occupancy Agreement) comparison; OA Tool analysis; OA drawings (preliminary and certified); verification of ASA (Agency Space Assignment) creation. The Contractor shall provide prospectus design review services, which may include providing guidance and recommendations during design reviews related to square footage measurement and space assignments, interpretation of measurement standards and attending meetings with the General Services Administration and other Client/Agencies. Required Databases: The Contractor shall provide GSA-PBS NBSAP (National Business Space Assignment Policy) clarification (most current version) as well as GSA- CIFM systems, such as eSMART (electronic Spatial Management and Reporting Tool) and the Region 2 (Northeast & Caribbean) Drawing Request module. Measure and assign the square footage of Federal Buildings and Federally Leased (as needed) in accordance with the GSA-PBS NBSAP (National Business Space Assignment Policy). Prepare SDM base, assignment and site drawings in accordance with the GSA-PBS NBSAP (National Business Space Assignment Policy), using AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 and/or AutoCAD 2012. Provide eSMART Database updates on a per SPID (space identification) basis. Track new and on-going projects that could impact the validity of SDM drawings with the GSA PBS inventory system. Provide maintenance services (audits, re-walks, IMV (Initial Measurement Validation), data correction resulting in bringing drawings and data into compliance. Provide strategic planning and scenario drawings which are eSMART (electronic Spatial Management and Reporting Tool) based. Travel Locations: The contractor shall provide the cited services for Government buildings throughout the entire Northeast and Caribbean (Region 2) which consists of the following: New York: servicing the areas of: Brooklyn/Queens/ and Long Island New Jersey (Northern) Puerto Rico St. Thomas and St. Croix General Instructions: If you are a small business and believe that your firm can successfully perform the services stated above, please respond via email to Deborah Malachi at deborah.malachi@gsa.gov. Responses to this announcement will not be returned, nor will there be any discussions or debriefings of any responses. However, information obtained as a result of this announcement may be reflected in the subsequent solicitation, and GSA may contact one or more respondents for clarifications and to enhance the government's understanding. This announcement is for Government market research, and may result in revisions in both its requirements and its acquisition strategy based on industry responses.
