- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Request for Information (RFI) & Sources Sought on behalf of the Navy ™s Center for Personal and Professional Development (CPPD). Please see attached draft Performance Work Statements (PWS) for Navy College Program for Afloat College Education ™s Distance Learning Program and Instructor-Led Program. The purpose of the RFI/Sources Sought is to help determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of meeting our requirement and will assist in improving the PWS as a result of the comments from industry - we are looking for new capabilities in the industry and at the same time maximizing competition. The information received will help determine future acquisition strategy. The government will consider and analyze all information received; formal responses will not be furnished, however the information may be utilized in the development of final performance work statements and/or RFPs. This is not a notice of solicitation issue. This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ), nor does this issuance restrict the Government ™s acquisition approach. Responses should include the following: Company Name; Address; Point of Contact; Telephone Number; E-Mail Address; CAGE Code; Web Page URL; Size of Business and participation in a Government preference programs (if applicable). Responses should be submitted to NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, Attn: Adelina LaCroce Code 270.3A via e-mail: adelina.lacroce@navy.mil. Responses should be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. local time 22 July 2013. No facsimile responses will be accepted. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this RFI nor will it reimburse for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. If return of submission is required, indicate address to which materials are to be returned with submittal. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review FEDBIZOPS for updates to this RFI. Refer all questions concerning this RFI to Adelina LaCroce, Contract Negotiator, at 215-697-9603. E-mail: adelina.lacroce@navy.mil. These services are currently being provided under two separate single-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contracts under which firm fixed priced task orders are issued. They are N00189-09-D-Z059 and N00189-09-D-Z060 both of which were awarded to Central Texas College.
