- AMENDMENT 0001 EFFECTIVE 06/24/2013 THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO ADDRESS QUESTIONS SUBMITTED: QUESTION 1: Is this a build-to-print job where the government will provide the necessary Gerber files for PCB fabrication and bill-of-materials? ANSWER 1: No, this a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) part we are trying to procure. The COTS part must meet the supplied requirement. QUESTION 2. Does the government want the successful bidder to create the necessary schematics, Gerber files, and BOM to meet the stated requirements and then produce the 60 boards? ANSWER 2: No, this a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) part we are trying to procure. The COTS part must meet the supplied requirement. QUESTION 3. Is there a process such as previous work or similar contracts to become a qualified bidder, or are all companies able to bid? ANSWER 3: The requirement is set-aside to small business vendors. QUESTION 4. What is the criteria for award: lowest price technically acceptable or best value? ANSWER 4: Lowest price technically acceptable is the criteria for award. ======================================================== This is a request for quotation under N66001-13-T-7847 for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 334111. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-67, Effective 21 Jun 2013 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DPN 20130617(Effective 17 Jun 2013) Edition. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses can be accessed in full text at www.farsite.hill.af.mil. Basis for award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order. This RFQ closes on June 28, 2012 at 16:00 P.M., Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Quotes must be uploaded on the SPAWAR e-commerce website at https://e- commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil, under SSC Pacific/Simplified Acquisitions/N66001-13-T-7847.
