Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR 13.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The solicitation number is N32205-13-T-2003, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66, effective 28 February 2013. NAICS code 488390 applies. This is not a small business set-aside. Military Sealift Command (MSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for USNS RAINIER for reconditioning of two (2) Fire pumps: The estimated issued date for the solicitation is on or about 27 June 2013 with an estimated closing date of 9 July 2013. Upon issuance, the solicitation, drawings and all required supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on FEDBIZOPS (https://www.fbo.gov/) under solicitation number N40442-13-T-2003. All requests must provide Dun & Bradstreet number and Cage Code. Telephonic requests for solicitations resulting from this notice will not be accepted.
