Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE- The VA Midwest Healthcare Network has a requirement for three (3) 1.0 full-time equivalents, Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologists. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 62111 with a size standard of $10.0 million. Requirement shall be to furnish services of a 1.0 FTE Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist to perform clinical Anesthesiology services for all types of complex surgeries (expect transplants) at the Minneapolis, MN VA Medical Center. Contractor shall also be eligible for an adjunct University of Minnesota affiliate appointment. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and multiple awards will be considered. Offers will be evaluated on past performance, technical approach, and price. Procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 Commercial Item and 15 Negotiated Contracts. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with two (2) 12-month options to renew. Service will begin February 1, 2014 (or date of award) through January 31, 2015 for Base Year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about June 20, 2013 and will be issued via FedBizOps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
