- A Sources Sought Synopsis for this requirement was posted on 30 Jan 2013 with the title quote mark Replace Service Gates and Rehabilitate Emergency Gates at Sardis Lake, OK quote mark. As the new title reflects the requirement is now to replace all the Service Gates and the Emergency Gates. The purpose of this notice is to provide details of the project prior to advertisement of the package. The Government is seeking the best proposals available. To that end, this notice is to make prospective offerors aware of requirements for the proposal stage of acquisition. On or about 12 Jul 2013 the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Tulsa District will issue a FAR Part 15 Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction contract to replace the emergency and service gates at Sardis Lake, Oklahoma. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the date for receipt of proposals. Award is anticipated to occur on or about 20 Sept 2013. Sardis Lake is located five miles North of Clayton, Oklahoma, along Oklahoma Highway 2 in beautiful Southeastern Oklahoma. The lake covers 14,360 acres, with 117 miles of shoreline. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE UNDER NAICS CODE 237990 - OTHER HEAVY AND CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION. The work will consist of: Replacing Service Gates 1 and 2. Replacing Emergency Gates 1 and 2. Rehabilitating and painting conduit liners. Rehabilitating hydraulic system Rehabilitating one low flow gate.
