- Description
- The US Forest Service on the National Forests of North Carolina, Croatan Ranger District, has a requirement for road repairs at Brown Road. Work involves repairing road storm damage, replace culverts, restore ditches, replacing surfacing, seed and provide erosion control. Project is located on Brown in the southwest part of the Croatan Ranger District, approximately 9.6 miles south of New Bern, North Carolina. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. A bid guarantee of 20% of the bid price is required. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required of the successful offeror. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 2 July 2013. The decision to hold a site visit will be determined at a later time and will be posted on the solicitation if one will be held. If one is held, it will be held at the Croatan Ranger District, 141 East Fisher Ave, New Bern, North Carolina 28560-8468.
