- SOURCES SOUGHT IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This is a Sources Sought announcement for market research purposes only. The information gained will be used to determine potential qualified contractors, preliminary planning and the method of acquisition. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS; therefore no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Army is seeking potential companies who have the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities required to provide linen cleaning services at 80th TTC Grand Prairie, TX. See attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 06/17/2013. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (POP): The Service Provider shall furnish all supplies and services to meet performance requirements. Contract Period: 30 Sept 13 - 29 Sept 14, 400 X 2xmo X 12 months for Linen Cleaning by pound, Pick up on Tuesday and Deliver on Friday. Vender will bundle all linen with vinyl straps (pillow cases = 20, sheets = 20, blankets = 5) when delivered to TTC facility. OTHER INFORMATION: Proposed contract type is Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812320 (Dry cleaning and Laundry Services) with Size Standard of $5,000,000.00. Interested parties are invited to respond to this Sources Sought announcement by submitting via email a CAPABILITY STATEMENT to Theresa Eckstein at theresa.m.eckstein.civ@mail.mil by Monday, 24 June 2013 at 0900 (9am) Eastern Standard Time.
