Description

Project Description Contractor to provide all resources, including but not limited to materials, labor, parts, and equipment necessary to complete project 438-365 "Construct Surgical Suite" in accordance with the plans and specifications. This project is located at the Sioux Falls, South Dakota VA Health Care System. General Information: The project includes a 24,000 SF multi-story addition to the east side of the Building 5 South Wing; which will house the relocated Surgical Suite, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Support Facilities on the Ground Floor, and Mechanical Equipment in a second story Penthouse. Performance Period: The period of performance for this project shall be 510 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude of the construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Electronic solicitation documents will be made available in electronic format through the Federal Business Opportunities website at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This procurement is 100% set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSB). Prospective contractors must be registered and certified in the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) VetBiz Registry database prior to submitting a bid: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Bids will only be accepted from responsible and responsive contractors. The NAICS code for the project is 236220-size standard is $33.5 million. A bid guarantee/bond will be required in the amount of 20% of bid, and performance and payment bonds will be required as necessary upon award of contract. Specifications and plans will be available for download from the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fbo.gov/. Amendments to this solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time of bid closing.
