Description

This is a synopsis notice for supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order using FAR 13.5 Test Program for Commercial Item procedures to Thermo Fisher Scientific at 27 Forge Parkway, Franklin, MA 02038-3135. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for the following: -- Nine (9) 8800PLUS readers -- Two (2) 8800PLUSDXT readers -- Eleven (11) Built-in Internal 90Sr/Y Irradiators (part # 21989) -- Three (3) 8800CARDID Processors -- Three (3) Field Service Commissionings (part # TSVFS4) -- One (1) Combined Field Service Commissioning: 4 Days of TLD Instrument Commissioning, Single Trip, Flat Rate, Travel Included (also part # TSVFS4) Anticipated Delivery final delivery is one-hundred eighty (180) days after date of award. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
