- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of potential contractors. The Department of Veterans Affairs Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center (VA) is currently renovating its Operating Room Suite. VA is seeking sources of endoscopic video equipment which can meet the requirements listed below. Requirements: Equipment from a single vendor needed in each of the two operating rooms is as follows: 1.Two 26" HDTVs mounted on flat panel suspensions 2.Two LED surgical lights with an in-light camera 3.One equipment boom with video/data plates, power outlets and medical gas connections 4.One anesthesia boom with video/data plates, power outlets and medical gas connections. 5.The LED surgical lights and in-light camera will be controlled by a wall mounted control panel next to the documentation station. 6.There will be one 50-60" wall mounted LCD monitor. 7.One 1080p HD video platform with endoscopy camera control unit with camera heads control unit, digital capture system, insufflator, and LED light source. All video cabling will be run back to a two-bay documentation station and connected to the control system. Connectivity will allow for the room to archive, edit, and share surgical images and videos. This is not an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
