- Description
- Pursuant to 13.106-1(b), the Federal Highway Administration intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) in conjunction with The Native American Tribes Tribal Group. The objective of this conference is to discuss the needs of the Nevada Native American Tribes. The purpose of this workshop is to jumpstart Native American Consultation Programmatic agreements with the Federal Highway Administration in addition to the Nevada Department of Transportation and the Nevada Tribes. Additionally, the workshop will engage participants in group exercises in order to build trust, work through conflicts, intercultural differences, and discuss strategies to build working relations. The Nevada Department of Transportation, who is in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration for this project is the only source that can conduct the workshop. NDOT has their own facilitators, in-house staff with the required knowledge and expertise as well as developing the workshop materials for the conference. A purchase order, issued under FAR Part 13 is anticipated and the total estimated value is not to exceed $42,584.00. The intent of this notice is not to request competitive proposals, and any information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm's capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort. The responses must be received by COB June 21, 2013. All questions concerning this matter should be addressed directly to Ms. Veronica Dorsey at veronica.dorsey@dot.gov
