- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Proposal - SPE4A513R0980 is being issued on 6/12/13 with a closing date of 6/27/13. This item is currently sole source to General Electric (CAGE 99207), NSN 2840-01-418-8358, PR0049315245, Disk, Turbine, Aircraft, Unrestricted, Part Number - 6049T87P03. This solicitation is for a total quantity of quantity 31 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 281 DARO or best possible delivery. This is a Navy designated Critical Safety Item (CSI). The solicitation terms include FOB: Origin and Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) will apply. This is a Critical Application item and Configuration Control applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
