Proposed solicitation number: W912EF-13-Q-0129 Closing response date: The closing due date and time of this solicitation will be approximately 10 days from the date the solicitation is issued. However, this time frame is estimated and subject to change-the definitive closing due date and time will be clearly detailed in the solicitation once issued. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future detailing requirements for a supply requirement entitled: quote mark ESBS Actuating Cables for Lower Granite Lock and Dam quote mark. This requirement pertains to the purchase of parts required to upgrade the existing John Day ESBS fish screens for use at Lower Granite Lock and Dam. This is a fixed-price supply contract. Other information: The solicitation will be issued on approximately 06/12/2013. Set-aside status: The solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 332618 size standard: 500 Employees Place of Contract Performance Lower Granite Lock and Dam, 885 Almota Ferry Road, Pomeroy, WA 99347-9632 Conducting Business with the Government In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.ccr.gov which will direct you to www.SAM.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Prior to quoting, it is preferred that vendors complete the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), which is found on the SAM registration web site.
