- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affiars request Audio Video related repairs for nine (9) classrooms at the Veterans Affairs Acqusition Academy, that is located in Fredrick, MD. These classrooms are critical to the VAAA mission and require repairs to bring them back to full operational status. The classrooms to be repaired are 1029 A, 1029B, 1029C, 1029D, 1047, 1050, 1004A, 1004B and 2120. The repairs will require Crestron re-programming and the existing code is not available. The government shall receive a copy of the new CAD drawings and source code for the new Crestron programming. The contractor shall provide and install an upgraded Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) for the existing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) AV system that is already in place in room 1050. The contractor shall replace the existing Blu-ray that not displaying a signal to the projection system in room 1047. The contractor shall document the entire existing GFE AV system. Note that these four classroom operate as individual classrooms and one large combined classroom. The contractor shall also troubleshoot the entire GFE AV system to identify the image quality issues that the system is currently experiencing for rooms 1029A, 1029B, 1029C and 1029D. The contractor shall replace the existing touch panels, wireless and lavaliere combo microphones and the projector bulbs. The contractor shall reprogram the Crestron controller. Prior to installation of new 9" Crestron-TPMC-V12-Tilt12 control panel the contractor shall deinstall the existing control panels. The contractor shall reprogram the Crestron programming as needed to repair the image quality problem. An updated CAD drawing will be provided to the VAAA once documentation is completed. Prior to installation of new Shure Inc.-ULXP124/58-M1 wireless microphone kit, the contractor shall deinstall the existing wireless microphone system. The contractor shall replace all Mitsubishi Projector Bulbs VLT-XL650LP in room 1004A, 1004B and 2120. The Contractor shall provide the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) with weekly Progress Reports in electronic form in Microsoft Word and Project formats. The report shall include detailed instructions/explanations for each required data element, to ensure that data is accurate and consistent. These reports shall reflect data as of the last day of the preceding week. The weekly Progress Reports shall cover all work completed during the reporting period and work planned for the subsequent reporting period. The report shall also identify any problems that arose and a description of how the problems were resolved. If problems have not been completely resolved, the Contractor shall provide an explanation including their plan and timeframe for resolving the issue. It is expected that the Contractor will keep in communication with VA accordingly so that issues that arise are transparent to both parties to prevent escalation of outstanding issues. This will be a Firm Fix Price, Service Disable Veteran Own Small business Set aside.
