Description: The Bureau of Reclamation, Albuquerque Area Office, through the Upper Colorado Regional Office, has a need to acquire approximately 2,700 preliminary title reports for privately owned parcels of land that may be affected by the construction of the Pojoaque Basin Regional Water System Project. In addition to future acquisition of permanent easements, there is also the need for temporary construction and staging areas. Preliminary title reports covering these parcels of land will insure that Reclamation does not impair or encroach on the dominant rights of third parties during construction. Evaluation criteria for award consideration, listed in descending order of importance, will include technical capability and approach to meet the government need; past performance; and price. Technical capability and past performance, when combined, are approximately equal to cost or price. A firm-fixed price contract with a base year plus up to four option years and an additional six months to extend the services will be will be awarded resulting from Request for Quotations No. R13PS43024 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisitions. Request for Quotations No. R13PS43024 will be posted by the end of June 2013. Thereafter, the full solicitation package may be accessed via link to this synopsis at www.fedbizopps.gov, or directly at http://ideas.nbc.gov.
