- Contractor to provide and install security enhancements to the Child Develement Centers at the US Military Academy, West Point, NY. Vendor will assess, analyze, design and install security enhancements for (3) Child Development (CDC) Facilities, identified as Stony CDC, Bldg #1207, Lee CDC Bldg #140, Washington Road CDC Bldg#693. The work will include adding Velocity CAC readers to the existing post wide Hirsch Velocity Access Control System. (This system has been installed with proprietary rights on the velocity software which was written specially for United States Military Academy, West Point, NY by an authorized representative of Hirsch Electronics). Vendor will also provide (3) video intercom system at the identified 3 Child Development Centers to allow for communication with and the viewing of the visitor at the main entrance. Parts and equipment that will be provided and installed by the vendor are the following: -(4) Hirsch M8N2 Access Control Panels -(2) Hirsch M2N2 Access Control Panels -(6) Altronix Lock Power Supplies -(6) Altronix CAC reader Power Supplies -(30) Hirsh CM CAC readers with Custom West Point Firmware -Furnish & Install request to exit/enter and peripheral equipment to (30) doors -Furnish & Install all associated cabling as required -Furnish & install locking hardware to (30) doors -Furnish & Install (3) video intercom and master stations-(stated above) -Incorporate (30) doors to the post wide existing Velocity platform -Conduct a comprehensive functionality test and training The government, identified as the garrison DES physical Security Section in collaboration with the local Network Enterprise Center will ensure that all the appropriate network ports and permissions are open and usable along with network connectivity for the 8 Hirsh panels and dedicated 20 amp circuits to each of the 8 Hirsch M8N2 panel locations.
