Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a request for information (RFI) / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This request is not a solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Quotations) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The purpose of this request for information is in support of market research being conducted by the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited hereunder. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked PROPRIETARY will be handled accordingly. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. The purpose of this notice is to identify business entities capable of providing the following Board Certified Vitreoretinal Physician Services to the Albany New York VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave. Albany, NY 12208: 1. Weekly Clinical coverage, 8am - 4:30 pm, One day per week, estimated 52 weeks per year. 2. On call coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week, 12 months per year. 3. Surgery cases 4. Laser procedures 5. Intravitreal injections of pharmacological agent. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) identifier for this service is 621320.
