- SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Notice (PSN) Improve Legacy Zone 1. NUMBER AND TITLE OF THE PROJECT: Project HB-41123-0J, Improve Legacy Zone Landscaping, and OPTION 1 - Concrete Sidewalk Construction, Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy. 2. DESCRIPTION: Work shall include new seeding and replacement of existing grass around and in the proximity of Building 3. The project shall also include new trees, hedges, shrubs and ground cover plants planting, trimming, mulching and all the best practices so as to ensure their proper growth. Supplying and laying of fertile soil. Existing tree preservation and plants removal. Existing concrete pavement removal and construction of new sidewalks. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials and services necessary for the performance of all the work required by this project, including maintenance, until all grass, hedges, shrubs, ground cover and trees take root and are in a healthy state. The contractor is requested to perform on site with its own organization work, equivalent to 70% of the total amount of the work to be performed. 3. SOA : OS 24 CATEG. I 4. FUNDING: The project is not funded at this time. Subject to Availability of Funds (SAF) 5. PERFORMANCE SITE: The site for the work is the military installation Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy 6. PROJECT AMOUNT: The project amount is between $250,000 and $500,000. This amount is informational only. The offerors are not bound to submit an offer within that range. 7. SELECTION CRITERIA: Will be established in the solicitation. 8. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Design/Build, Firm-Fixed Price 9. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Base project shall consist of the landscaping improvement, Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy. Performance period shall be 160 calendar days from notice to proceed. Option 1 shall consist in the construction of concrete sidewalks, Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy. Performance period shall be 40 calendar days from notice to proceed. 10. SITE VISIT: The Site Visit will be scheduled during the first week of July. Additional information on the Site Visit will be contained in the forthcoming solicitation for this project. Interested vendors will submit their request no later than 21 June 2013 to the following e-mail: casey.e.gordon.mil@mail.mil and karl.w.geyer.civ@mail.mil, indicating in the email Subject: PSN, W912PF-13-R-0027, Improve Legacy Zone. The following information is required: name of the firm, address, phone and e-mail address. The request will include the information of the representative who will attend the site visit: First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Citizenship, Type of Identification (Driver's License, Carte d'identit, or Passport), and the Serial Number of the Identification. This information will be submitted to the Provost Marshal to grant offerors access to the site. Additional information addressing the site visit will be detailed within the solicitation. 11. REQUIREMENTS: In order to conduct business with the United States Government, all companies must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). When a company submits a proposal, it is mandatory that a valid copy of their company's System for Award Management (SAM) profile is attached. i.
