- The Internal Revenue Services (IRS), Western Area Branch, Office of Business Operations intends to solicit a quote from, negotiate, and issue a contract to an authorized Knoll, Inc. dealer on a sole source brand name basis to Retrofit and provide installation services of existing Knoll Dividends Horizon workstations including replacement parts and pieces. The existing system furniture items are currently located in the IRS El Monte, CA 91731 and shall be installed at the same location but on a different floor by August 2013, subject to change. The authorized Knoll dealer must provide all labor, equipment, tool, materials, transportation, and supervision including clean up, trash removal and disposal and services identified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW will only be provided with the Request for Quote to the authorized Knoll, Inc. dealers in the service area within 30 miles radius of the IRS El Monte, CA location. The authorized Knoll, Inc. dealer must be registered in the System for Award (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Information regarding the registration can be found at www.sam.gov. The authorized Knoll, Inc. dealer shall be required to complete either a paper copy of the Representations and Certifications or may complete them online at http://orca.bpn.gov) in responding to this requirement. The Government will consider all information from responsible sources that is submitted to the point of contact by 10:00 A.M. (California time) on June 10, 2013 by email to LaTanya.Evans-Tate@irs.gov. All correspondence MUST contain the RFQ Number TIRWR-13-R-00023 in the subject line, but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely at the discretion of the Government.
