Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source - HIMSS Foundation Acquisition Plan Number: VA701-13-AP-0278 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contract Activity - Central intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source Available, no other source will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with: HIMSS Foundation, 33 West Monroe Street, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL, 60603-5616, for the purchase of commercially available online training and practice exams for the Certified Professional in Healthcare & Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) Exam. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
