- Brand Name Justification M0026313T0023 SF1449 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00263-13-T-0023 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This acquisition is unrestricted. A brand name justification is attached to this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66 and DFARS Publication 20130516. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Recruit Depot- Parris Island, SC intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for following items: 1 200773-01 SEMS II RFID Programmer Kit Qty 1 2 200772-01 SEMS II Mesh Gateway Qty 1 3 200266-03 Pak-Tracker, Hand Held Receiver Kit Qty 1 4 200433-01 Pak-Tracker, Truck Charger Qty 1 5 201088-01 SEMS II, USB Gateway Qty 1 6 201051-01 Repeater Assy Qty 1 7 200841-01 SEMS II, 4500 psig field Install kit Qty 32 8 200774-01 SEMS II, RFID Tag Kits Qty 4 All applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses are contained in the SF 1449 M0026313T0023 attached to this synopsis. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their proposals in accordance with FAR Part 12 and additional instructions, conditions, and notices to offerors provided in the attached SF1449. The Government award will be made using the lowest price technically acceptable source selection process. All responsible business sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. The offeror is responsible for ensuring that proposals are received in the Contracting Office no later than 1:00 P.M. (Eastern) on 9 June 2013. Any offer, modification, revision, or withdrawal of an offer received at the Government office designated in the solicitation after the exact time specified for receipt of offers is "late" in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). Quotes submitted by courier (FedEx, UPS, etc.) shall be addressed for delivery to the following physical location: Marine Corps Recruit Depot - Parris Island Regional Contracting Office Attn: Chad Dando BLDG 159, MCRD/ERR Parris Island, SC 29905 Electronic submission of the written offer is authorized. The written submission must arrive by the stated deadline in order for a quote to be considered complete and to be evaluated. Failure of any portion of the quote to arrive by the stated deadline will result in rejection of the entire quote. Submissions maybe faxed to 843.228.2163.
