Description
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command- New Jersey, Joint Armaments Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Army Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), Weapons Systems Technology Directorate (WSTD) is conducting market research to locate companies interested in entering into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Government. Interested sources should be capable of providing new purchased or leased software licenses and continued annual software license maintenance for EnSight user seats that are currently in operation within the ARDEC enterprise community. The contractor will provide annual maintenance updates for custom configured previously procured and installed user licenses that are currently in place within the ARDEC community. WSTD requires the use of unsteady and steady state CFD post -processing software for use with ANSYS Fluent and other software. The software must be able to read multiple Fluent case and data files and process them seamlessly as a single data set. Post processing must include the ability to color surfaces by multiple parameters including pressure, density, temperature, velocity, Mach number, etc. In addition, the software must be able to create isometric surfaces throughout 3-D flow domains based on a constant value of a given parameter. In addition, the software must be able to probe the flow domain at any point and calculate values as a function of time across multiple input Fluent case and data files. The software must also be able to read a format native to that software and one that is supported in Fluent export panel for both serial and parallel Fluent runs. The software should also support contour lines with labeling of contour values in 2-D. The software should also be able to run on Linux and Windows platforms and support serial and parallel post-processing of data to some extent. Companies are invited to indicate their interests and capabilities by providing brochures and any information pertaining to their ability to provide the above requested services. All information is to be submitted via email at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Responses shall also indicate the size of the business entity, large or small and a copy of the most recent System for Award Management (SAM) certifications and representations. Please provide the name of the company, address, POC, phone/fax number and email address. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions via email only. Interested companies are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualifications information no Later than 11 June 2013. This is a Sources Sought /Market Survey Announcement and submission of information will be used for informational and plan purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ). In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice.
