- Description
- 1. This project includes the following work: - Fiber optic cable empty conduit installation at existing cable route and graveled roads on Range 201. -Install cable trenches above existing high cable route and graveled roads. -Installation of pull shaft for the laying of empty conduits. -Install and measure all required fiber optic cable splices. -Install 1 each distributors in the in COP area. -Supply 5 each new camera points with fiber optic cables and low voltage. -Install concrete protection devices for the connection points. -Deliver and install 1 each movable aluminum camera poles, crankable and tiltable. -Deliver and install 2 each fixed camera poles, height 12 m. -Deliver and install 5 each foundation points for camera poles. -Provide protection device for camera pole. -Connect camera points to the low voltage supply. 2. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $25,000.00. 3. The performance period is 70 calendar days whereby a commencement time of 10 calendar days is included. 4. The solicitation will be issued on or about 07 June 2013 and will be available at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. 5. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the RCO Grafenwoehr. 6. Work will be performed in Germany; any contractor must comply with German law (e.g. must have authorization to do business in Germany). 7. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
