Solicitation Number: VA261-13-Q-1165 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice in conjunction with procedures in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and additional information included with this notice. The solicitation number is VA261-13-Q-1165 and is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-66. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 332999 with a corresponding small business size standard of 750 employees. This requirement is a Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit offers. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 requires the following item with the following salient characteristics: Salient Characteristics a.48.75" h x 20.875"w x 28.75"d; b.National Stock Number (NSN): 7110-00-082-6112 c.Weight no less than 750 pounds (lbs.) d.Four drawers e.Single lock mechanism Line Item 0001: General Services Administration (GSA) Approved Class 5 Legal File Cabinet/Safe; NSN #7110-00-082-6112, 1 Each Equipment may be new or refurbished. All items must be covered by no less than a 1 year warranty. Delivery Schedule: Government requested delivery date 30 days ARO. Offeror proposed delivery:_________________ Days ARO FOB Destination shall be Modesto, CA 95355. Offers must be valid for 90 days after close of solicitation and offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Registration information is located at www.sam.gov. EVALUATION Offerors will be evaluated to the extent they can provide the item listed in the price schedule. The Government will award to the responsive, responsible offeror meeting or exceeding the Salient Characteristics which is determined to be the best value to the Government.
