Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, NCO (Network Contracting Office) 1, VA Connecticut Healthcare Systems, West Haven, CT intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Cornell Scott Hill Health Corporation for the procurement of the following services. To provide and administer inpatient medically monitored alcohol and or drug acute detoxification in a residential setting. This requirement is conducted under Statutory Authority Permitting Other than Full and Open Competition. Title 38 USC 1720A Care for Veterans with mental health and substance use disorders, 110th Congress Public Law 387- Veterans mental health and other care improvements act of 2008. Cornell Scott Hill Health Corporation meets all of the required types of treatment needed as well as facilitating Veterans geographically with in close proximity to VA Connecticut. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent service as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to the synopsis by Wednesday June 5th, 12:00 PM EST to William Prenzler, NCO 1, 950 Campbell Ave. West Haven, CT 06516. Or e-mail William.Prenzler@va.gov. Reponses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NCO 1 will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
