- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: This is a request for information/market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The ITS-3 currently will be set aside 8(a). The 96 Communications Squadron (96 CS), Eglin AFB, Florida, is seeking potential sources capable of capable of providing cost-effective Information Technology Services. The contractor shall provide technical engineering, operational and program management support to the Government. The anticipated services require a diversity of professional skills and industry experience necessary to support a variety of IT environments. The work shall encompass the activities associated with information technology, automation support, system administration, technical engineering, computer programming, configuration management, training, telecommunications, help desk, operations, customer support, administrative support, and other specialized networking and data communications services. The contractor shall provide necessary personnel to perform work relating to the preceding areas as requested by tasks. Inherent in providing these goods and services, the contractor shall provide the supervision and management effort necessary for efficient and effective administration and control of work performed. The contractor shall ensure adequate resources are dedicated to satisfy the requirements of work assignments. Requirements are described in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS), dated May 2013. Feedback and comments regarding the DRAFT Performance Work Statement are welcomed. The Government anticipates award of a Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a base period of performance of 28 Sep 2013 through 27 Sep 2014 and up to Four (4) one-year option periods for a total contract performance period of sixty (60) months, with a option to extend for six (6) months. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the future acquisition is 541519, with a small business size standard of $25.5 Million Dollars. If qualified and interested, please submit an email/fax/letter stating the name of your company, your interest, a Capabilities Statement, and your business size: indicating whether you are a small or large business for the purposes of the assigned NAICS code. Also, identify a company Point of Contact (POC): name, telephone number with area code, and email address. Emails are preferred. The Government POCs for responses are listed below. AGAIN, THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), OR AN INVITATION FOR BID. Responses should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage Code, Phone Number, Fax Number, Size of Business. In addition to the size of business, indicate all classes of business that fit your firm: i.e. Small Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, etc. Responses must be received no later than 29 May 2013, 1600 CST.
