Description
Department of Labor Wage Determination/Miami-Dade County SF1449 Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items Statement of Work for Gate Access System This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised for Small Business vendors only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG28-13-Q-XCF071. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are: 423610, size standard of 100 This requirement is for a fixed price contract. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. Anticipated award date: 10 days after close of solicitation, OOA 24 June 2013 Quotes are to be received no later than close of business (3 p.m.) on 14 June 2013. Faxed quotations will be accepted at 305-415-7092 or via e-mail to Jerry.Lopez@uscg.mil Quotations sent via the US Postal Service or hand delivered should be sent to: Commanding Officer USCG Base Miami Beach (P&C) Attn: Jerry Lopez 909 SE 1st Ave, Room 512 Miami, FL 33131. Telephone requests of quotes, will not be accepted, a formal notice of changes (if applicable) will be issued in FEDBIZOPS (www.fbo.gov). Wage determinations: 2005-2119, Rev 13, dated 06/13/2012 SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor is required to remove existing gate access system electronics and related hardware and replace with new gate access system utilizing RFID technology. See attached Scope of Work. Geographical range: N/A Performance Period: Removal and installation of new gate access system should take place NLT 10 days after award of contract. Extension period must be approved by the Contracting Officer for any unforeseen delays. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision and any other supplies, materials and equipment necessary to perform the services required. Site visit: There will be two designated site visit dates for vendors. Contact either Chief Derrick Johnson at 305-233-9655, ext: 112 or Petty Officer Tecunuman Garcia at 305-233-9655, ext: 180 to schedule the site visit. Proposals from vendors who scheduled and attended the site visit will be considered. Proposals from vendors who did not schedule and attend a site visit will be considered non-responsive. Work hours: Monday through Friday, 0800 - 1500 (8 am - 3 pm) No weekends or Holidays. The following FAR provisions/clauses apply to this solicitation. The vendors SAM registration must be in an "ACTIVE" status prior to award. Vendors must ensure that the above listed NAICS codes are listed on their SAM registration to perform this type of service. Vendors must be able to obtain and provide a payment bond upon award of a contract, if contact exceeds $30,000.00
