Description
Trailer, Compressed Gas NSN 3655-00540-273RN, P/N 1590 The 8 Cylinder Oxygen Trailers are deployable servicing trailers that provide gaseous oxygen needed to service aircraft and perform purge operations necessary to maintain the liquid oxygen (LOX) systems. The unit is composed of eight storage cylinders, a flow control system, a trailer, and servicing hoses and adapters mounted on a two-wheel trailer. The trailer will be towable and capable of air transport to military locations worldwide. The oxygen trailer will be capable of operating in ambient temperatures ranging from -20F to 130F and being stored in temperatures ranging from -65F to 160F. The oxygen storage cylinders will have a working pressure of 2,400 psig and allow for each cylinder to be removable without disturbing any of the other cylinders. These trailers will be manufactured in accordance with an Air Force drawing package and will meet requirements of the Compressed Gas Association (CGA). The overall dimensions of the trailer are 127.0 inches in length, 65.0 inches in width, and 42.0 inches in height. Weight is 750 pounds without cylinders. The resulting Requirements contract will include a 1-year basic period and five 1-year options. Line item 0001 will be for 1 each first article subject to First Article, First Article Test Plan, and First Article Test Report approval and will ship to FB2065 within 180 days ARO contract. Line items 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001 will be options with a quantity range of 1 to 35 each and each option year will also include line items for applicable data. Line item 5001 is an option with a quantity range of 1 to 34 each this option year will also include line items for applicable data. Orders may be placed for USAF or FMS requirements as needed. Delivery is FOB Origin with locations for orders determined at the time order is placed and delivery due 120 days ARO order. The pricing arrangement will be Firm Fixed Price. This is a competitive acquisition set aside for small business concerns under the 8(a) Business Development Program in accordance with FAR 6.204. Only those firms certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration as an 8(a) firm are eligible to compete for award. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated solicitation release will be on or around 28 May 2013, with quotes due on or before 27 June 2013. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (https://www.fbo.gov/). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED.
