Sources Sought Airman and Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) Workshop Facilitator/Resume Review Officer Scott Air Force Base, IL This is a request for information only. This is not a request for proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The United States Air Force, 375th Contracting Squadron (LGCB), Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources for an A&FRC Workshop Facilitator/Resume Review Officer. Scott Air Force Base is conducting market research to determine the availability of businesses capable of providing a facilitator/resume review officer to the A&FRC located at Scott Air Force Base. Description of Services The contractor will work from Monday-Friday, 0800-1630, except for federal holidays executing the following tasks as needed: The contractor shall be able to provide two 3-hour workshops per month (72-seminar hours/year) for a total of 24 workshops on subjects such as Basic Resume Writing with additional information on using social media to include an overview of LinkedIn in relationship to the job search, Interviewing and Federal Resume Writing. Dates, topics, presentations, and multi-media materials will be coordinated in advance with the A&FRC Community Readiness Consultant (CRC) to ensure adequate time is available for advertising and filling class seats. If less than 10 people sign up for any workshop, the Airman & Family Readiness Center reserves the right to cancel the workshop 24 hours prior to the program date. If this occurs, the surplus workshop hours will apply toward the number of individual, one-on-one reviews of resumes or additional workshops. Additional workshops may be developed and presented only by contractor and A&FRC mutual consent. The contractor shall also be able to provide a block of four hours for resume review appointments/walk-ins per week (208 hours/yearly). A typical appointment will consist of no more than 15 minutes of contractor review of resume prior to customer visit, and no more than 45 minutes of customer contact per individual, one-on-one review of the resume. Follow-up sessions will be considered a typical appointment. Appointments and review-time scheduled is subject to the approval of the A&FRC. If a workshop/review is canceled due to a holiday or other circumstances the A&FRC reserves the right to schedule additional workshops/review sessions. Qualifications The contractor must have the following: -Basic understanding of military protocol and Air Force terminology -Bachelor's Degree or have 10 years of experience in Human Resource Management -Good understanding of effective current basic and federal resume writing styles -Be skilled at resume critique and have good multi-media and presentation skills -Basic knowledge regarding assisting military members during their transition out of the military -Ability to transfer a military resume/qualifications to a civilian or federal resume. -Provide a resume and three professional references -Responsible to arrange for a trained replacement and to notify their A&FRC POC five days prior to absence Contract Type 375th Contracting Squadron is anticipating a performance based, firm fixed price contract. The duration of the contract would be one (1) base year plus two (2) one year options.
