Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR NURSING HOME CARE SERVICES The Department of Veterans Affairs Alexandria, Louisiana VA Health Care System located at 2497Shreveport Highway, Pineville, Louisiana has a requirement for Nursing Home Services provided to Veteran beneficiaries in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area. The Alexandria VA Health Care System intends to release a commercial solicitation for Nursing Home care services for eligible Veteran beneficiaries, at the contractor's facility. The Nursing Home facility must be within ten (10) miles of the boundaries of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The Government will award a Basic Order Agreement (BOA) under authority of 38 U.S.C. 1720. The performance period will be one (1) year from date of award with four (4) one-year option periods, if exercised should the facility be needed beyond the initial year. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Contractor shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at the website https://www.ccr.gov and the ORCA website at https://www.orca.bpn.gov. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 623110 and the Small Business Size Standard is $13.5M. All contract details, which include full specifications and "Statement of Work", will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP), which is expected to be released about May 24, 2013.
