Description

Global Trends Impacting Foreign Affairs The Leadership and Management School, Executive Development Division provides senior-and executive-level training for Civil Service, Foreign Service and in some instances, military employees. Courses on how to coach, lead a team or solve problems in creative ways are offered through this division. Custom workshops, conference sessions and consulting are offered as well. The Senior Executive Threshold Seminar prepares newly promoted Senior Executive Service and Senior Foreign Service Officers for the challenges they will face leading across agency and international boundaries. The culmination of the mandatory leadership training continuum, SETS focuses on the specific skills necessary for successful performance at the most senior levels of government including visioning and strategic thinking, working across organizational boundaries, and managing conflict.
