Description

The VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VCHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 with Illumina, Inc. of San Diego, CA. This requirement will include the following characteristics: Product Description: Human Methylation 450 DNA Analysis BeadChip Kit. Salient Characteristics: Illumina Human Methylation 450K BeadChip (450K) is a comprehensive array containing genome-wide methylation sites and covering 99% genes in human genome. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may indentify their interest, accompanied by sending supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than 5/6/2013 @ 2:00pm. Responses should be sent to James.Corbett2@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
