**** 5/2/2013 REVISION: By issue of this modification we announce THIS SOLICITATION AS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. ********* INITIAL NOTICE: Project: WA PRA OLYM 12(4) Hurricane Ridge Road Tunnel Repairs Location: Approximately 10 miles south of Port Angeles, Washington Work: Tunnel repair to include repairing cracks & joints, sealing concrete, cleaning & painting portals, replacing steel grates, minor clearing above portals and other small items of work. Project length: 0.33 miles Tentative Completion Date: Fall 2013 Estimated Price Range: Between $500,000 and $1 million. See attached Project Description for additional information. This solicitation is being considered for: • HUBZone Small Business Set Aside; • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set Aside; or • Total Small Business Set-Aside. Submit the attached "Contractor Info" fillable form to show your interest. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Eligible small business firms; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
