Description
The Mid-Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a firm fixed-price contract for Spring Creek Powerplant, Judge Francis Carr Powerhouse, and Trinity Powerplant Pavement Rehabilitation. This procurement is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns only. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. The work to be performed is described below. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the related small business size standard is $33.5M. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. The estimated cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Work at Spring Creek Powerplant will be located approximately 7 miles northwest of Redding, California in Shasta County, California. Work at Judge Francis Carr Powerhouse will be located approximately 15 miles west of Redding, California in Shasta County, California. The work site will be located within the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Work at Trinity Powerhouse will be located approximately 40 miles northwest of Redding, California in Trinity County, California. Solicitation R13PS20172 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 7, 2013. The date for receipt of offers will be approximately June 6, 2013. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Principal components of the work include: 1.Crack Seal access roadways and parking lots. 2.Remove and replace specified pavement sections, including aggregate base and asphaltic concrete. 3.Slurry seal access roadways and parking lots. 4.Replace existing pavement striping, marking, and lettering.
