- The work includes bucket dredging of mud and silt material along Pier R-3 at the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station, VA as indicated in the contract drawings. Deposition of material shall be by scow transport to the Norfolk Ocean Disposal site located off the coast of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The project is being solicited for HUBZone small businesses only. The approximate solicitation release date is 2 May 2013. The estimated cost range is $1,000,000. to $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the size standard is $20 million dollars. This is a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The contractor shall be required to commence work under the contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed and complete the entire work not later than 180 calendar days thereafter. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the Adobe website. The official access to the solicitation is via the Internet.
