Description
Business Impact Analysis Request for Information (RFI) This Request for Information (RFI) is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB): herein stated as "Agency." If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this RFI. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the FRTIB. Any information that the responder considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. All submissions become Agency property and will not be returned, including any proprietary information. The FRTIB is an independent federal agency that was established to administer the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), which provides Federal employees the opportunity to save for additional retirement security. The TSP is a tax-deferred defined contribution plan similar to private sector 401(k) plans. FRTIB consists of ten offices and has approximately 125 employees whose official duty station is Washington, DC. The objective of this request is to gather information from vendors and their methods, capabilities, and understanding on completing a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) as part of an overall business continuity plan for the Agency. Please provide responses to the questions in the attached document in MS Word format or pdf and email them to Wes Beemer, Contracting Officer, wbeemer@tsp.gov by 24 April 2013, 3PM ET. We encourage companies to keep responses and attachments relatively brief. In the email subject line, please state "TIB-2013-RFN-0009 BIA Response Company X" and enter your company name in place of "Company X." If you have large documents that you would like us to read, please provide a link to the document instead of emailing us the document if possible.
