- Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, Fort Dix is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the acquisition strategy and common commercial practices for emergency response and patient transport services required for Government beneficiaries, 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the Fort Dix Range Complex, Fort Dix, NJ. The anticipated period of performance is a base year of 12 months with two-one year options to be exercised in accordance with FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract The contractor shall provide full emergency patient transport services and serves as primary medical response unit at Fort Dix Range complex for emergencies. The requirement covers the full range of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and ambulance services at the Range locations as defined in the performance work statement (PWS). The draft PWS is attached as part of this RFI. This RFI is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. This RFI is to identify potential contractors for this requirement and to ascertain common commercial contractual terms and conditions of EMT and ambulance services such as defining the performance period, (i.e. by months, days), invoicing practices, response time, etc. Responses to this RFI should not exceed eight (8) pages and must contain the following information: Your company's business size, using NAICS code 621910 business size $14 m as the benchmark, capability statement and your response to the inquiry regarding common commercial contractual terms and conditions. Responses and Questions to this RFI shall be submitted by 23 April 2013 to claudia.m.adams.civ@mail.mil. Only e-mail submittals will be accepted.
